Glass and fragile products

Prepare clear, comparable and verifiable cargo information for your sector.

Prepare cargo-specific information, documents and handover owners before requesting service.

Clarify these questions first

  • Is it sheet glass, bottles or processed products, with package/rack type and gross unit masses identified?
  • Are protective cases, separators and manufacturer orientation/stacking restrictions documented?
  • Have manufacturer lifting/contact points and receiver unloading equipment been confirmed?
  • Are delivery damage checks, photo/record methods and the decision-maker for exceptions identified?

Shared information for the request

  • Packed dimensions, gross mass, package/pallet count and stacking limits.
  • Product description, any current SDS/technical document and the authorised reviewer.
  • Pickup/delivery addresses, ready date, special conditions and cost scope.

This is preparation guidance. It does not automatically determine temperature, classification, permits, loading plan or acceptance; shipment conditions and service scope need separate assessment.

Check date: General information. Confirm product, route and handling conditions with the Gulf Sea team.
