Understanding your route
What does ocean transit time cover?
Ocean transit is the approximate time between the origin and destination ports. Inland transport to the port, port waiting, customs and final delivery are assessed separately.
No number is shown when a transit time has not been verified. An estimate is not a delivery commitment for a particular sailing.
How does a direct service differ from transshipment?
A direct service does not require moving the container to another vessel; the vessel may call at other ports. With transshipment, the container moves to another vessel at the stated port.
Why might a route not be listed?
Catalogue coverage is limited. Entries without confirmed currency or usage permission are not shown. No verified entry does not mean there is no service between these ports.
